Those growing up in the digital age are being rewired to see the world a whole lot differently. Researchers in Hungary say children who start using digital devices at a young age pay more attention to tiny details and less to the whole picture.
The result, some fear, will be fewer artists and musicians. I would argue fewer visionaries, fewer visions, fewer leaders looking forward (we’re seeing a lot of that right now.)
On the other hand, mired in the details you will find researchers and scientists from all the disciplines.
I guess that’s technology. There’s an upside and a downside. If we can exploit the former and minimize the latter, we can keep it working for us, mostly.
