Just before Christmas a very cool story about a tiny frog in central and south America. These little guys aren’t sporting a powerful poison, rather they grow transparent while they sleep. They are nocturnal, but by daylight they park on a leaf their organs virtually as their red blood cells reduce circulation by up to 89 percent, hidden in their liver. Grouped with other frogs, they look like a flimsy green leaf in the foliage.
How much safer would we be if were more transparent with each other? Transparency is scary for most of us. Transparency = Personal risk. Ridicule. Judgement. Heartbreak. Maybe transparency is like the Chinese symbol for crisis one stroke is danger, the other is opportunity.
