You know that bee populations are in trouble, right? Lots of us have native landscaping to support the pollinators, all of them. But scientists have come up with a bee vaccine to protect them from devastating bacteria. Or, as I think of it, \u201cthere\u2019s a vax for that.\u201d I\u2019ve been inoculated and boosted twice. I\u2019ve had the shingles shots, the flu shot, and the necessary adult \u201cboosters\u201d for childhood diseases (though there are no children around me if I can help it.) So, while I completely understand and am mindful of unintended consequences, I believe I\u2019m on board with annual shots because the alternative is worse. Or it could be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me and for the bees.
