Am I the only one who thinks, \u201cWho figured this out?\u201d Like, how did someone reach into a river, pull out a soft rock and think, \u201cI\u2019ll be we could use this as a fertilizer?\u201d (Phosphate) Or, who took a look at flaky, greasy graphite and thought, \u201cI bet this would work as a writing instrument?\u201d Even if you don\u2019t do that, others do. One guy has written an entire book about \u201cfirsts.\u201d #WhoAteTheFirstOyster includes much-needed information like who invented the wheel and who told the first joke? Definitely a must-have for the curious about the curious.
