The CDC found an illegal, unregistered laboratory in Fresno County, California. They found 20 potentially infectious agents. Lab mice. Medical waste. Hazardous materials. Xiuquin Yao was identified as the company president through emails included in the court documents. The lab may have ties to the Chinese government. So, where are the conspiracy theorists when you need them because, you know, this is at the least suspicious, don\u2019t you think? My husband often asks me why these shows, placed in the future, some farther away from our time, some in the near future. Most are dark. People are hungry, robots rule, cities are in rubble. Sometimes it\u2019s war that takes us there. Nuclear. Bomb-dropping drones. Released pathogens. Wait. Released pathogens while wildfires burn out of control, massive tornadoes blow through the Midwest and show up in places not previously prone to them. More hurricanes that are larger and longer and blow further across the country. Scientists now say that the extreme weather we\u2019re experiencing doesn\u2019t have to get worse. We can still change that future.
